The mission of Cocoa Presbyterian Church is to glorify God by proclaiming Christ’s Gospel of unconditional love, acceptance and forgiveness and offering a warm and inviting place of worship.
We see our mission as promoting growth in Christ by spreading the Good News of the Gospel and by being a strong, nurturing and caring family of God, first of all to each other and then to the community and extending to our global neighbors.
We see ourselves as being one in the body of Christ, who, as His loving agents in the world, will minister to others by the witness of our daily lives.
Organized in 1958, with 71 charter members, Cocoa Presbyterian Church has developed alongside the NASA Space Program.
A wide diversity of individuals and families call it “home” and describe it as a congregation that provides meaningful worship, enlightening studies and enriching opportunities of service and fellowship.
The year 2008 marked the Church’s 50th year of ministry. The entire year was celebrated as a time of Jubilee. Expressions of thanksgiving for the congregation’s past are being mixed with opportunities of spiritual renewal for its future. The yearlong theme was “The Spirit of our Past……….the Promise of our Future!
